Subwassertang Moss (Lomariopsis lineata), also known as Round Pellia or Loma Fern, is a captivating, beginner-friendly aquatic plant prized for its translucent, ruffled fronds and gentle, flowing appearance. Though often mistaken for a moss or seaweed, this plant is technically the prothallus (juvenile stage) of a fern. First gaining popularity in Southeast Asia, Subwassertang is now beloved worldwide for its low-maintenance care and versatile aquascaping applications.
Ideal for planted aquariums of all sizes, it attaches easily to wood, rock, or decor, forming lush, bushy clusters over time. Whether used in nano tanks, shrimp setups, or nature-style layouts, Subwassertang brings a soft, forest-floor look and provides valuable shelter for aquatic invertebrates.
