Bucephalandra Kedagang Mini

Kedagang at nano scale. Bucephalandra sp. 'Kedagang Mini' keeps the dark green to blue-green coloring and iridescent sheen of the Kedagang line, but stays at 1–3 inches — small enough for a single stone or a branch tip where the full-size forms would swamp the layout.

Grower’s Notes

• Kedagang is the plant; the suffix is the selection. Kedagang Red, Kedagang Japan and Kedagang Mini are the same plant type differing in color and size — buy on the look you want rather than assuming they're separate species.
• Give it flow. Bucephalandra come from fast streams and keep their leaves cleaner and their color better in moving water.
• Never bury the rhizome. Glue or tie it to rock or wood; buried rhizomes rot.
• At this size it sets the scale of a nano scape — next to Kedagang Mini, a small stone reads as a boulder.
• Growth is measured in months, which is why Buce holds its shape for years without trimming.
