Named Bucephalandra carries a name premium. This listing does not — it is the same farm-raised stock, unlabeled, picked from whatever is looking best. Godzilla, Brownie Ghost, Mini Coin, Kedagang, Green Wavy, Arrogant Blue, Skeleton King, Pink Biblis, Lamandau Purple, Brownie Phantom, Theia, Velvet, Titan, Catherinae, Belindae, Peacock, Melawi — who knows.

Grower's Notes
- You cannot request a species or a color. Every order is picked at random and shipped unlabeled. That is the entire reason it is cheaper than the named listings — if you need a particular variety, buy it by name.
- Never bury the rhizome. Tie or glue the horizontal stem to wood or rock and leave it in open water. Buried rhizomes rot, and a plant growing an inch a year does not recover quickly.
- Expect roughly an inch of growth per year. Whatever species arrives will stay close to its shipped size for a long time. Slowness is the feature — it holds a scape's shape without trimming.
- Keep the light modest. Under strong lighting algae outpaces the plant. Low to medium light produces cleaner leaves and better color across nearly every Buce variety.
- Melt after shipping is normal. Some leaves may drop in the first fortnight while the rhizome settles. Leave it attached and undisturbed — new growth comes from the rhizome, not the old leaves.

Customers praised these aquatic plants as "healthy" and arriving in "wonderful size" with generous roots. One shopper noted "impeccable" packing that kept plants alive through a 10-day delayed shipment. Most received multiple varieties. However, some experienced leaf loss after tank placement. Overall, customers appreciated the quality and value.
- Great plants, generous size. Lots of roots, ready to put on rocks.
- Small and cute but taking to my tank well, it's become my favorite plant.

They sent nice plants as a grower’s choice. Packing was impeccable— I ordered 10 plants which USPS proceeded to drive all over the country instead of straight to me— 10 days later when the package arrived all but 2 of the plants were still alive and healthy.
