Echinodorus Aflame, also known as the Purple Knight Sword, is a striking rosette plant admired for its deep burgundy to purple-toned foliage and compact, upright growth. Unlike many larger Echinodorus varieties, Aflame maintains a more moderate size, making it ideal for midground placement in medium to large aquariums.
This beautiful sword plant adds bold color and structure to aquascapes and thrives in nutrient-rich environments with medium to high lighting. When provided with CO₂ and root fertilization, its foliage becomes intensely pigmented and lush, making it a true centerpiece in any freshwater setup.
