🌿 Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides – Fast-Spreading Dwarf Pennywort with Hardy Clover-Like Leaves
Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides, commonly known as Dwarf Pennywort, is a versatile, low-growing aquatic plant with charming, clover-like leaves and a creeping growth habit. It’s ideal for aquarists seeking a lush, fast-growing foreground carpet or a trailing accent over hardscape features.
Compared to Hydrocotyle tripartita 'Japan', this species has sturdier, thicker foliage and grows faster with less maintenance. It performs well in both low-tech and high-tech tanks, adapting easily to various aquarium setups.
