Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a dwarf variant of the popular Cardinal Plant, selectively bred for its smaller leaf size and compact growth habit. This cultivar features crisp, bright green foliage that grows densely and horizontally, making it ideal for foreground or midground placement in aquascaped tanks. With regular trimming and high light, this plant forms low, bushy clusters that create a clean, manicured appearance.
Unlike its larger cousin, which often reaches the background zone, Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' stays neat and controlled. Its smaller internodal spacing and vibrant coloration make it a favorite among aquascapers seeking balance and contrast between stem plants and carpets.
