Common Name: Mattogrossense Milfoil
Myriophyllum mattogrossense is a graceful and fast-growing stem plant prized for its delicate, feathery foliage and lush, flowing appearance. Native to the rivers and wetlands of South America, particularly the Mato Grosso region of Brazil, this species brings a sense of movement and lightness to aquascapes. Its bright green, finely divided leaves grow in whorls along slender stems, creating a soft, bushy effect that’s perfect for background planting.
At Aquarium Plants Factory, we cultivate Myriophyllum mattogrossense to ensure strong, healthy stems that adapt quickly to aquarium life. Under optimal lighting and nutrient conditions, this plant grows rapidly, making it a great choice for filling in background areas and providing shelter for small fish and shrimp.
