Vallisneria gigantea, also known as Giant Vallisneria, is a massive and majestic background plant ideal for large aquariums and open-top tanks. Native to Southeast Asia and Australia, this species is best known for its towering, ribbon-like leaves that can exceed 36 inches in height—creating dramatic vertical lines and natural movement within the aquascape. Its size and strength make it a favorite for planted community tanks, cichlid tanks, and natural biotope-style layouts.
As with other Vallisneria species, Vallisneria gigantea spreads quickly through runners and thrives in a variety of freshwater conditions. Its broad, tall foliage provides excellent shelter for fish and fry while delivering a powerful visual statement in any aquatic environment.

Even though our plants are very clean, but we can't guarantee they will be 100% pest-free because we cannot be responsible for your aquarium. Please use it at your own risk. We recommended all customers rinse the plants with clean water and quarantine them before use.
However, plants in tissue culture will be 100% free from pests, algae and never have been contacting with any aquarium.
