Grower’s Notes

• The pale veining is reduced chlorophyll, which is why color and light are so tightly linked here. In dim light the veins fade and the leaf greens up.
• Divide the cup into small clumps and plant them a little apart. Tissue culture stock establishes faster with space around it than planted as one block.
• Rinse the gel off completely before planting or it clouds water and feeds algae in the first weeks.
• Trim often. Regular topping is what keeps it low and bushy rather than letting it lengthen into a small standard Rosanervig.
• Root tabs deepen the color noticeably. It draws from both roots and water column, but responds most to iron at the roots.
