Customers praised this tissue culture for being "amazing" and "extremely healthy," with many receiving more plants than expected. The variegated foliage is stunning and works well in low-tech tanks. However, some noted the plants were smaller than expected and a few experienced melting. Careful transition to submersed conditions is recommended.

Beautiful Plant!

This little tissue culture anubias arrived in perfect condition! Not sure what went awry with the negative reviews here, but I am a beginner with white anubias and I'm keeping this little one alive and even noticed new growth! Super glued the root (a dab will do) to the spider wood, as pictured, in a spot where it gets lots of light from my Hygger planted LED. Had it for over a couple weeks now and noticed no melting. I am enjoying my first foray into white/variegated aquatic plants!

Extremely healthy plants, beautiful as well.

I ordered 3, unfortunately it’s all individual rhizomes so 40 bucks for 3 plants is a little rough, but when you factor the rarity, the beauty, and honestly an extremely healthy plant it easily becomes a 5 star worth it rating. The cup is small for it to grow in is my ONLY complaint lol, not that big a deal. They look exactly as they are pictured above buyers, mainly white with touches of green on the stems mostly. Mine all had 10-20 leaves even though they were tiny, about 1-1.5 inches in size. So once again, very very VERY healthy plants. Not sure how people have their plants melt, I suggest allowing it to culture in its cup until it needs more space in the tank to make sure it’s as healthy as possible and i guarantee they will not crash. Specifically ordered these because they don’t require CO2 like a lot of other rare species. One plant has some green on the leaves, the other 2 are pure white so it will vary you should know. Nothing that the seller can control, there’s no way of knowing until the plant becomes older it’s possible they all grow to have some green too. I actually prefer the white though so even better!

Beautiful Plants!

This one's my favorite anubias! My order arrived quickly, and all plants were in wonderful condition despite there being a heatwave in AZ with temps higher than 115° F. Every single plant looks incredibly healthy, and I'm very pleased with the order. Will definitely order from APF again!

Completely white no marble or green.

Completely white, not marble. I'm doubting it will live in the aquarium. I will have to grow it emersed in hopes of some green developing. I was hoping it would be like the other pictures people posted, but I guess not. I personally i wouldn't be intrested in it like this.

Stunningly gorgeous little plant!

Truly a "nano" tissue culture! Despite there only being a single rhizome in the tiny cup, there were so many leaves and it was already so dense, I simply couldn't complain! I feel so lucky to have gotten my hands on this rare anubias! It's very beautiful and exactly as described and pictured above. However, be extremely careful and patient when transitioning to underwater submersed conditions, as to not melt the plant and rhizome. I've transitioned it into one of my tanks and it's already growing new leaves every day. I'm in love.

Dissappointingly small

Compared with the plants that I can get from the local stores, these were too small for the prices I paid. They came in good shape so I'm hopeful I can grow them to what I would have thought they would be.

I think it's dead

I run high lights, CO2, ferts, the works. Placed this plant in my tank and it melted completely and hasn't shown any signs of growth, recovery. Not happy for $20 plant.

SUPER CUTE and super small

I purchased the tissue culture to try and prevent the plant to completely melt away. I'd seen in some reviews for a cutting that their plants had melted away and did not come back.
It was pretty difficult to put in the tank as a wanted to super glue it to a few pieces of gravel so I could place it in a better spot once it got bigger. I managed to get my fingers stuck together more than once lol. It's been in my tank for about a week, and it HAS MELTED. However, please don't let that scare you, as I saw a new baby baby leaf this morning. I'm looking forward to watching it grow!!! This is a really cool plant, especially if you've got black substrate or have a black water tank. Just be sure not to cover the rhizome when you place it in the tank, which is hard to do, because of the size of the plant. I definitely would recommend getting this cute plant though!!!!!

Great Looking healthy plant

These have only been in my tank 2 days but so far so good. Very small plant structure (which I like), was able to get 3 small bunches out of this tissue cup. Arrived healthy, very happy with my purchase.

Nice tissue culture

Compared to the 'loose' grown version, you will get about the same ratio for what you pay for, that is, this is a little cheaper and you get a little bit less (less leaves/smaller plant). The upside is that this is a tissue culture. I trust APF for the most part to have healthy plants when they are not lab-grown. I'm not against snails or anything like that, but this might be the way to go if you want to be fully commit and be able to just plop it in an aquarium or terrarium right off the bat.

The Anubias & Java fern came in good condition. Well packaged. I didn't realize the cup of Java fern would be in such small fragment. I like the looks of the marble white nano culture cup. They are so tiny and may I say cute. I intend to plant them today so I can't say how they will grow. My hopes are high. They will be center front in my tank. APF is now my first stop for any future plants.

Love it

Came in a tiny sealed cup with hydro gel. Very nicely packaged so it couldn’t be squished while being shipped. The plant itself was beautiful, vibrant and healthy. It had some roots, but it looks like it was cut/pulled off of something it had been previously attached to, which was kind of disappointing as I was hoping for a more solid root structure. Still deserves 5 stars though.
