Bucephalandra sp. "Velvet Tricolor" (sometimes referred to as Velvet 3 Color) is a rare, small, and densely bushy Bucephalandra form with narrow, wavy leaves. Believed to originate from the Sanggau area in West Kalimantan, Borneo, its precise species classification and exact locality remain uncertain. Despite its rarity, this plant has proven to be highly suitable for aquariums, with excellent growth habits and steady propagation.
Young leaves emerge in shades of light brown-red, later maturing into deep dark brown-green, creating a striking multicolor effect that inspires its name. Its compact, ramified rhizome structure forms a bushy cluster, making it a unique addition to any aquascape.
