Rare South American stem plant with round leaves and unique coloration
Ludwigia marilia is a rare and highly sought-after aquatic plant from the surroundings of Marília in São Paulo, Brazil. This plant has not yet been determined to species and is extremely scarce in the aquarium trade, making it a true collector’s item. At Aquarium Plants Factory nursery, we cultivate this plant in its emersed form where the leaves remain green, but once submerged, they transform into light green to light orange tones, especially at the shoot tips.
With its roundish-elliptical leaves and fast growth habit, Ludwigia marilia is an outstanding choice for aquascapers seeking a plant that combines rarity, elegance, and vibrant color contrasts.
