Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea', also known as Golden Creeping Jenny, is a bright and eye-catching aquarium plant prized for its vivid yellow-green foliage and trailing growth. Originally a terrestrial and bog plant, this cultivar adapts well to submerged or semi-submerged conditions, making it a unique addition to aquariums, paludariums, and ripariums alike.
Its golden hue adds a pop of contrast to darker green aquatic plants and is especially striking in nature-style or Dutch-style aquascapes. It can be planted in groups or allowed to trail over hardscape elements for a cascading effect.
