Grower's Notes

• Buy coverage, do not wait for it. Anubias adds only a few leaves a year. A mass planting of Dark Moon is something you purchase, not something you grow — which is the entire case for the bulk pack.
• Dark plants need light backgrounds. Against dark wood and black substrate this cultivar disappears. Set it near pale sand, light stone or bright green neighbors and it becomes the anchor of the layout.
• The color does not need bright light. Unlike reds, which fade without intensity, Dark Moon holds its depth in shade — which makes it one of the few genuinely low-light color plants.
• Space the plants further apart than looks right. Crowded rhizomes trap detritus and rot where they touch.
• Never bury the rhizome. Roots may go into substrate; the thick horizontal stem must stay exposed or it rots.

Notes
