Bucephalandra Brownie Ghost Mini

Brownie Ghost Mini is the small form of Brownie Ghost — tiny round leaves running reddish-brown through olive and dark green to almost black, on a rhizome compact enough for a single pebble. At one to three inches it is one of the smallest Bucephalandra we carry.

Grower's Notes

• Size is what you are buying here. Brownie Ghost Mini is the same plant type as standard Brownie Ghost at roughly half the scale, which lets it sit on a small stone or a branch tip without dominating a nano layout.
• Farm-raised, not wild-collected. All the Bucephalandra we carry is farm-grown, and much of it is raised from tissue culture rather than collected from Borneo.
• Never bury the rhizome. Tie or glue it to wood or rock and leave it exposed; buried rhizomes rot.
• Lava rock is the ideal mount — porous enough that the fine roots grip quickly, and it matches what the genus grows on in the wild.
• Some leaf melt after shipping is normal. The rhizome survives and pushes new submersed leaves within a few weeks.
