Grower’s Notes
- Stability matters more than intensity. Pink Chai reacts to sudden shifts in parameters more than most Hygrophila. A steady tank produces better colour than a heavily dosed one that swings.
- Occasional stems revert. The hybrid is stable and cuttings normally come true pink, but a stem may sometimes return to the reddish-brown of the parent Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia'. That is the hybrid behaving normally, not a mislabelled plant — remove reverted stems if you want the stand to stay uniformly pink.
- Trim regularly and replant the tops. Topping forces branching, which is what turns a few stems into a block of colour.
- This is the small size. Young plants take time to develop full colour — judge it once established rather than on arrival.

24 Hours Live Arrival Guarantee* - In a rare case of live stocks dead on arrival, we must be notified within 24 hours by the same day of delivery. Please take clear photos of the damaged product and send it to us within 24 hours. Live Arrival Guarantee will be void after 24 hours of delivery. All replacements are considered final and we will not replace the replacement.

- Please do not take picture of damaged plants, or animals in your aquarium. Once they have been introduced to your aquarium's ecosystem. It is no longer covered by our guarantee.
Please be aware that our Live Arrival Guarantee is subject to certain conditions. Specifically, the guarantee will not be applicable in cases where the package is marked as 'invalid address', 'undeliverable' or is 'returned to sender.' This includes situations such as a vacant delivery address, a missing apartment number, or any other issues that prevent the postal service from delivering your package.
It is crucial to provide accurate and complete shipping information to ensure the successful delivery of your order and the applicability of the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Please keep in mind that Live Arrival Guarantee only guarantees that live stocks will be alive upon arrival. We cannot guarantee that you will continue to have success with them. WHAT WE CAN'T GUARANTEE
Even though our plants are very clean, but we can't guarantee they will be 100% pest-free because we cannot be responsible for your aquarium. Please use it at your own risk. We recommended all customers rinse the plants with clean water and quarantine them before use.
However, plants in tissue culture will be 100% free from pests, algae and never have been contacting with any aquarium.
- Due to the nature of the product. We don't guarantee our plants will be pests free. ( snails, algae, hitchhikers )
- We don't guarantee our plants will be free of pesticides. We use homemade, organic pesticides in our greenhouse to control pests. We do not use pesticides that contain copper. Copper is toxic to invertebrates such as aquatic snails, crabs, shrimps, etc
- We don't guarantee your aquarium success or are responsible for your aquarium inhabitant including but not limited to fish, shrimp, snail, turtle, etc. So please quarantine all plants when use!
- Unless specific, we don't guarantee aquatic plants will be grow emerged or submerge.
Please review your state's regulations on restricted plants, as we are committed to not shipping plants that are restricted in your area. Do not release any plants into the wild or waterways, as this can harm local ecosystems by introducing invasive species.

The Pink Chai is very well grown. APF grows plants with love, and it shows. The plant came rooted in gell, may be tissue culture, but it is grown to be large enought and healthy enought to easily adapt to your aquarium. Amazing bright colour - very healthy.

I fell in love with this plant and the contrast it created with my dark substrate immediately. For the price I feel like the amount that arrived was generous and would absolutely order more. I took a risk ordering in the winter months, but luckily the temps held and everything arrived without issue. However, the packaging the plants arrived it would not hold up if you were ordering to a location where below freezing is the average air temp. Perfect for minor fluctuations, not great for anything extreme.

I opened the package right away because we have cold temps where I am at, and even though it with wrapped in some sort of insulation, it was still frozen. I know that’s a issue with me and my location, but I have not had a issue like this with other companies. That and the package was so tightly wrapped that all the plants were completely pressed flat. Once again, other companies have this figured out, I don’t see how this is the preferred method of sending small plants. Just kind of disappointed because I was very excited to receive these, doubt they will make it.

How tall do they grow?
Hygrophila Pink Chai is a stem plant, so it will keep growing upward over time rather than staying a fixed size - under moderate to high light with a nutrient-rich substrate, it typically reaches a nice mid-to-background height, and regular trimming/replanting the cuttings keeps it fuller and more compact if you'd prefer a shorter look.
