Luxury Anubias Collection – 4 Premium Anubias Species on Driftwood

Price
$149.99

Four of the rarest variegated Anubias in the hobby, each mounted on its own piece of pre-drilled, treated driftwood. Nothing to tie, glue or plant — the pieces go straight into the tank and can be moved without disturbing anything.

What You’ll Receive

Included Species:

  1. Anubias Pinto – Known for its rare variegation of green and creamy white, adding a unique touch of elegance to your aquascape.
  2. Anubias Petite White – A compact variety with striking white-tinted leaves, perfect for smaller tanks or as a foreground accent.
  3. Anubias Varking – The King of Variegation, featuring unpredictable patterns of green, white, and yellow, making it a bold centerpiece.
  4. Anubias Broad White – With its broad, variegated leaves, this species adds lush greenery and fullness to any aquarium setup.

Driftwood Size: Approximately 1-2 inches per piece. Each plant is wrapped in rockwool and inserted into the drilled driftwood.

Plant Profile

  • Common name — Anubias (Pinto, Petite White, Varking, Broad White)
  • Scientific name — Anubias barteri cultivars
  • Plant type — Epiphytic rhizome, pre-mounted on driftwood
  • Placement — Foreground to midground
  • Growth rate — Slow

Care

  • Difficulty — Advanced. Pinto is the most forgiving of the four; Petite White, Varking and Broad White carry heavy white variegation and need more care than a standard Anubias.
  • Light — Low to moderate
  • CO₂ — Not required
  • Substrate — Not needed; the driftwood sits on top
  • Propagation — Rhizome division

Grower’s Notes

  • Keep variegated Anubias out of bright light. White tissue carries no chlorophyll, so it cannot outgrow algae the way green leaf can — these four want shade more than any standard Anubias.
  • Never bury the rhizome. The driftwood keeps it clear of the substrate, so leave the pieces sitting on top rather than pressing them in.
  • Variegation varies leaf to leaf and cannot be predicted. Varking in particular throws different patterns on every new leaf, including occasional fully green or fully white ones.
  • The treated driftwood releases minimal tannin, so it won't tint your water the way raw wood does.
  • Growth is slow — expect one new leaf every few weeks. That is normal for Anubias and especially for variegated forms.

Notes

  • Photos are for reference. Variegation pattern, leaf count and driftwood shape vary with every piece — no two collections are identical.
  • Never release aquarium plants into natural waterways.
