Limnophila sp. 'Belem' — also known as Limnophila aromatica ‘Red’ — is a stunning and aromatic stem plant that brings vivid red and purple hues to any aquascape. Native to Southeast Asia, this plant is highly valued for its delicate feathery leaves and its beautiful color transformation under strong lighting and CO₂-enriched conditions.
At Aquarium Plants Factory®, we cultivate this species in its emersed form, where the leaves are primarily green. Once transitioned into submerged growth, it develops vibrant reddish-pink to purple tones, making it a true centerpiece in high-end aquascapes.
