Bolbitis sp. 'Buea', commonly known as the Buea Fern, is a rare and highly sought-after aquatic fern from the river systems near Buea, Cameroon, in Central Africa. Known for its gracefully arching, deep green fronds with a lightly textured surface, this plant brings a refined and natural look to any aquascape. Like other Bolbitis species, it thrives best when attached to hardscape rather than planted in substrate, making it an excellent choice for driftwood- and stone-centered layouts.
Unlike the more common Bolbitis heudelotii, the Buea Fern has slightly narrower fronds with a delicate, almost lace-like quality, adding a unique dimension to planted tanks.
